My friend recommended the book Wife for Life to me years ago. Being single, I didn’t think I would find much application—and might even twist a dagger in an already painful situation for me. So I let the recommendation pass. But when my sister-in-law recommended the book and Wife for Life University to me, I decided to give both a try. I am so glad I did! Wife for Life is not just for married women. It is for any woman who has men in her life.
The book is informative and easy to understand, but W4LU brings a much fuller learning experience. I was able to hear women discuss their own real-life examples—adding to what Ramona shared in her book—and talk about how they have or are trying to apply W4L principles. Because I have been able to attend class and be a part of these women’s lives and experiences, I have been able to see how to apply the principles to my own, even single, life. It has made dating more enjoyable and helped me understand the men I am dating a lot more. It has also made me much more excited for my own future marriage, which I am grateful for as failing marriages surround me had me worried about entering that part of life. Now I feel equipped with the right tools and knowledge to make a marriage to my best friend work out, and work out wonderfully.
